First and formost, my advice to people with Trich is that no matter how impossible it may seem, you CAN overcome trichotillomania, to an extent. Though nobody knows if it’s possible for Trich to ever completely go away, many many sufferers have been “pull-free” for a very long time. If you try and try again, and put forth effort and time and believe in yourself, you can progress immensely. You can make the best of this habit, and it doesn’t have to rule your life. It’s your choice. Sometimes, the way I think of it is that there are so many other problems that you could potentially have, that trich is a just a little thing. Just be happy you’re you.
